Solander comes from Sweden to bring us a heavy bass pedal, fantastic rhythm percussion and a voice that reminds me of a modern day Jefferson Airplane.  The trio uses a variety of orchestral instruments to add to the drama of the sound.  Throughout the album you will hear sounds that originate from all over the place.  Things like old music boxes and antiquated organs surprise you at times and will keep your ears sharp.

After all the family torture and turkey from Thanksgiving, I figured everyone needed some mellow music.  Say Hi (Say Hi To Your Mom) leads off the list today with a great guitar riff that echoes through the song over and over.  Eric Elbogen is the band behind each album.  He sings plays all the instruments and often records in his own house.  The only exception to  that is when Say Hi performs live and he has to grab a few friends to fill out the sound.  Enjoy the list and try to unwind a bit.
