Tomorrow’s Playlist ventures into a new sub genre of indie music today: chiptune. Anamanaguchi is our featured artist today as they take their hacked Nintendo to new heights. Although many people hear the 8-bit sounds they produce and think of Donkey Kong or Double Dragon, it is not much different than the other music you hear today, but with a very different synth. “Airbrushed” leads off the playlist with a power punk sound that breaks into an awesome coda that makes you feel like you just beat Contra. The combination works, and may just open your eyes to a whole new world.
